Its because donations to the red cross go into a fund that helps all sorts of places. Now that he has a disaster in his little world he wants all funds to go directly to his mob controlled accounts.

I watched one crying New Yorker going “ this kind of thing is supposed to happen in Missouri or Florida...sob sob....NOT HERE!”

That's part of the problem with the Red Cross. When people donate to a disaster they naturally expect their money will be used where they targeted it to go. Also, the top dog at Red Cross supposedly makes $500,000 a year. That isn't charity but it almost certainly comes from donations. I agree with Romney that charitable work is best done on the local level. I never give money in cases like this but I will gladly buy canned goods, water, diapers, and blankets and donate them. Those kinds of things are harder to misappropriate (through corruption or ineptness) than cash is.
