Florida Dems ask Scott to extend early voting (Rush Just Mentioned This Story)

Florida Democrats are asking Gov. Rick Scott to extend early voting an extra day, blaming the GOP-backed changes to the election law that shrank the number of early voting days for long lines at the polls.

Florida Democratic Party Chairman Rod Smith said Scott should take the lead from his predecessor Charlie Crist who extended early voting four years ago in response to long lines around the state and election machine problems in certain counties.

Oh sure, by all means, more early voting. We’ll even throw in an 0bama phone and some free smokes at taxpayer expense. We’ll also give your dead relatives, illegals and pets some ballots too.

The ballot is HUGE this year, with 11 amendments. There are a total of 6 extra-long pages to wade through.

It already has, al franken. Mn. has a long early voting peroid with registering without ID when you vote and vouching for others to vote. A vote thief or zombie voter is limited in the number of times they can physically vote in one day but early voting gives them plenty of time to ply their trade. Some states also have problems with the absebtee voting we do here in Ms. We got voterId passed but it is being held up by the DOJ. Our next step is to make correction to our absentee voting laws.

Lots of items to vote on. Several judicial retention votes, several amendments, stuff like mosquito board election. Three page ballot, both sides. But, of course, half of it is in Spanish.
