WIsh I had that luxury. I keep 7 five gallon jugs, 5 gallons in the generator tank itself and a 10 gallon exterior tank that I patch into a splitter on the fuel line. I fill the jugs at the station and use them to fill both tanks with a giant funnel, all of course with nothing running and the fire extinguisher in sight.

It gets me through about 5 days.

Too many people have tried to refill with one running, and aren’t around anymore to talk about it. A splash guard is also a good idea for a hot machine. Best to let it cool down if you can.
