(Reuters) - U.S. employers stepped up hiring in October and the jobless rate ticked higher as more workers restarted job hunts, a hopeful sign for a lackluster economy that has dragged on President Barack Obama's reelection chances.

The employment data was the last major report card on the economy before Tuesday's presidential election, which pits Obama against Republican Mitt Romney.

Romney has made the nation's feeble jobs market, which has plagued Obama since he took office in 2009, the centerpiece of his campaign.

...I just read a story from Reuters Rooter that claimed Obama was up in Va, Co, NC, Saturn, Venus...now he needs some “relief”?!

“They are propagandists, and Obama boot lickers. When Romney is President, watch the media turn 180 and it will be all negative news.”

The change will indeed be drastic. These people are shameless. Their leftist ideology and brainwashing trumps everything. And none of these agencies are worse than Rooters and Asspress.

Every word Reuters prints is a lie, including 'and' and 'the'.

Even the punctuation is a lie.

They take THIS

"Total nonfarm payroll employment increased by 171,000 in October, and the unemployment rate was essentially unchanged at 7.9 percent, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Employment rose in professional and business services, health care, and retail trade."
and spin it to THAT.

LOL. Now the number of jobs is important despite the fact that unemployment has increased to 7.9%

When you lie nonstop, it's tough to keep them all straight.

"U.S. employers stepped up hiring in October and the jobless rate ticked higher as more workers restarted job hunts"

Can you believe this line???

Unemployment went up because more people were looking for jobs??? "Restarted"???

Does that mean they are admitting we were right all along? The the reason the jobless rate went under 8% in the first place is because PEOPLE HAD GIVEN UP!!!

The deceit and intellectual dishonesty of the lamestream media continues to amaze me.

Bottom line. The unemployment rate went up. The average American wage went down. What a disgrace.

The people have no relief, but thank goodness Obama is relieved. That’s most important.

It’s a little thing known as Christmas. There is always more hiring for Christmas.
