Citizens of China and Japan overwhelmingly support President Barack Obama to win a second term, according to an AFP-Ipsos poll which suggests Mitt Romney's tough talk on the Asian powers could have dented his image.
The US elections may be a toss-up at home but the survey carried out by Ipsos Hong Kong found a whopping 86 percent of Japanese back the Democrat incumbent compared to only 12.3 percent for Republican party candidate Romney.
Chinese respondents were less emphatic, but still a hefty 63 percent said they wanted Obama to serve out another four years, according to the online poll conducted in September and October.

The only reason this is amusing is that China is less excited about the marxist than the Europeans.

that's a slimy Reuters headline that says "90% of
Europeans" and then the actual text says "More than 90 percent of
northern European" -- big difference -- and it goes on to say "The survey questioned a total of about 7500 people in Britain, Germany, France, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway."
--> only these countries are "Europe"?

I shall take their suggestion under advisement, stick it in a folder labeled “IRRELEVANT SUGGESTIONS”, and file it in File 13, from which it will be re-filed forthwith into the File 14 garbage bag, transferred to the local garbage dump, where it will be unceremoniously dumped into the garbage compacter which is always set on “crush”, from which it will be further transferred to the local landfill where it will never again see the light of day.
