7.9% Unemployment = GOOD.

5.1% Unemployment (W-era) = BAD.

And be advised, your chocolate ration will be increased to 20 grams, from 30 grams, this month.

I go way out on a limb and suggest that must have been pre-planned no matter what the number was. Obama's best unemployment number is still higher than Bush's worst unemployment number.

If voters somehow see fit to reelect this doofus, they deserve what they get.

November 7, 2008 (note the year, Obama was being elected to repair Bush's "worst economy since the great depression") - Unemployment rate reaches highest level in over 14 years

"Over the past 18 months (2007-2008), 3.3 million workers have been added to the jobless rolls, and there are currently 10.1 million unemployed workers in this country. The unemployment rate rose from 6.1% in September to 6.5% in October, its highest rate since March 1994. Underemployment, a more comprehensive measure of the extent of labor market weakness, rose to 11.8%, its highest level in over 14 years. Underemployment’s growth is primarily due to a surge in people working part-time but wanting full-time jobs—up 645,000 from September to October, and by 2.3 million over the past year."

Somehow today's mainstream media coverage seems more sympathetic to the far more serious problems caused by Obama than they were to the problems caused by Pelosi under Bush.

Well, Obama is still out on the campaign trail celebrating “al-Qaeda on the run” while the media ignores the Benghazi lies and scandal.

Welcome America to the way it's been done in Chicago for decades.

Big Jump in Unemployment for Blacks

In September, the unemployment rate for blacks was 13.4 percent. In October, that number jumped to 14.3 percent, an almost a full percentage point change, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

They were going to spin this as well as possible no matter what the numbers were. So of course they’re going to act happy, in the hope that their lapdog media reports “the Obama Administration is very pleased with the numbers”. It’s all for show. Unfortunately, tne media will certainly lap it up.

The fact that no one even knows who the Barry Benghazi’s kommisar of Labor is is telling. If 7.9% is reason for celebration, I suggest they meet face to face with some of those that are unemployed. I guarantee they won’t be celebrations when they are done.
