As a kid growing up in Texas our house was full of kids all the time. Some happened to have darker skin color than ours. I never thought anything of it. As I grew up I had many friends and still do that have darker colored skin. I just have never thought anything of it.
Until the last couple of years. It is not because of Obama’s darker skin color. It is about him, his wife and the people around them. While I have never used the word “ni**er” in my life for the first time in my life at times I have thought it when I see some people that have darker skin than mine say and do outrageous things based on a prejudice I never had. Based on a past I had nothing to do with, my ancestors had nothing to do with and actually the people that bring such stuff up had nothing to do with. There are no slaves today.
I have never been prejudiced but I kind of am today. Because of Obama...
I, like you don’t use the word ni**er—but I would say that the the big O is a perfect definition of the word, along with his wife....
You don’t dislike them because of their skin color,
but they certainly dislike/hate you because of yours.
