"Obama’s intention has always been .... to be the anti-Reagan ... in three areas: health care, education and energy ... He enacted liberalism’s holy grail: the nationalization of health care. His $830 billion stimulus, by far the largest spending bill in U.S. history, massively injected government into the free market — lavishing immense amounts of tax dollars on favored companies and industries in a naked display of industrial policy."

Which is why even in the face of a landslide defeat, the dems will privately be smirking. We NEED the Senate (and some gonads).

Underlines mine. That is why I have no faith in Romney & Crew and the GOP-E in particular. There will be a collective sigh of relief and a burst of economic recovery when he is elected, but, Fearless Forecast, obamacare will NOT be rescinded nor will many/any of his edicts be rolled back.

Mark Steyn nailed it when he said the US Republicans are like Europe's "conservatives" - when they get in power, they never undo the Socialist programs, just claim they can make them work better.

Lets see how long it takes for people to start griping about the same thing after January 2013.
