Doesn’t matter whether the mob realizes it or not, Our enemies know they have taken out our Ambassador. That has consequences whether people hide in their TV sets or not. History will know it as well, as evidenced by Mr. Blackwell, here.
Our govt’s reaction to it is an addendum - an impressively negative one, but it is secondary.
