Biden accidentally says he's 'never' been proud of being Obama's vice president By Daniel Strauss - 11/02/12 02:18 PM ET
Vice President Biden seemed to have mistakenly said Friday he has never been proud of being President Obama's vice president.
Biden, speaking at a campaign event in Beloit, Wis., meant to say that he has always been proud of being Obama's vice president, as he's repeatedly said before.
Instead, Biden said that "there's never been a day in the last four years I've been proud to be his vice president."
Some attendees at the event said it was unclear whether Biden accidentilly said "he's never been proud" or what he meant to say that he's always been proud to be Obama's vice president.
During the 2012 vice presidential debate with Paul Ryan in October, Ryan teased Biden about his habit of making gaffes.
"I think the vice president very well knows that sometimes the words don't come out of your mouth the right way," Ryan said.
Biden shrugged off the jab.
"I always say what I mean," Biden responded.
This guy’s brain is like a battery that is old and can’t hold a charge anymore.
Imagine his handlers feeding him his lines and knowing they probably have 5 minutes before it all starts to go bad.
Well, I can agree that I’ve never been proud of having Biden for a vice-president too.
Oh, come on. We all know that Democrats don’t actually mean what they say.
For example, in another widely-reported gaffe, we all know that Barack Obama didn’t really mean it when he said the following:
“I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”
ah, good ol’ senile Grampa Jo
Just saw this clip played on The Five. As much of an idiot as Biden is, and needs to be on meds, in this case he didn’t actually say what’s being attributed to him. If you see the clip and watch his mouth, you can see that what he did was simply kind of swallow the pronunciation of the word “haven’t” so that it came out sounding like sounded like “have.”
I remember in the debate Biden had with Ryan, Biden said “I always say what I mean”.
Link won’t work. Guess I can search for it.
