I recall that the last time GOP candidates targeted PA was to provide some insurance that PA residents would cross over to Ohio and vote. The reasoning was the closer the PA vote, the less incentive to draw voters across the border.

For the last 2 weeks Romney is phone blitzing Michigan. Some days I get 2, this a.m it was Santorum and yesterday Palin, cannnot remember all that called.

Certainly hope this all ends in a big Romney win, but I’ve been around long enough to know there is stuff going on that can turn either way. I attended a huge rally for W in PA in 2000, huge crowd, Colin Powell was there, W, I think maybe Papa Bush. It was a wildly enthusiastic scene with thousands of people. Needless to say, he lost PA.

The Rasmussen trend at the moment is not good. Some polls show a big Romney win everywhere, others show Obama holding on.

Of course Obama is doing worse than 2008, the question is will he lose. Just get out there and vote, big time.
