Sounds like a great money making opportunity.
Surprised entrepreneurs aren’t bringing in pickup trucks full of 5 gal cans and selling for 10 bucks a gallon.

I'm not so sure about that. The problem is that you're competing against a fixed price in the range of $3.50-$4.00 per gallon, and there's no way to sell gasoline for $10/gallon to people who are willing to waste four hours of their lives on line for the cheaper alternative.

The only way to make it work is to bring an entire tanker truck filled with gasoline to a place where people need it for generators rather than for their cars. As time goes on and more and more people (and gas stations) get their power restored, your ability to get a huge premium on your fuel diminishes.
