Yes, they are. But being a Midwest gal, my door is always open to my neighbor. I may not cook a prize winning Red Velvet Cake or Pecan Pie, and I may be a Yankee, but I wouldn’t ever turn someone away. None of my neighbors would, either.
What about a lemon Meringue pie? If you can make one of those I’m on my way.
