Marxist ideologues will always follow the party line when deciding what news to report and how to report it. I just finished a combination Biography/Short Story Collection about Dashiel Hammett. He published strongly anti-fascist news & articles until the Stalin-Hitler pact was signed, then, in one day he became strongly pro-Hitler. He stayed that way until Hitler invaded the USSR - then immediately became a fervent anti-fascist again!

For these people, party loyalty is paramount.

The old media feel that they are answering to a “higher calling” than just reporting the news. Their “higher calling” is to cover for the Democrats and their “higher calling” of giving us a perfect country, a utopia, here in the United States. If you are answering to a “higher calling”, than you can excuse away the trifling problem of four dead Americans in Benghazi. The Democrats are starting wars in the Middle East so they can make money off them? Just a little detour in their quest for their “higher calling”. You have to wonder how many dead Americans it will take before the old media starts covering this story? 500? A million? 10 million? What’s their magic number where they wake up and realize the Democrats have played them for years with their “higher calling” lie?

All the above, and then some. However, if you think the media will change after this election, you are wrong. Before MItt is sworn in, they’ll be looking for ANYTHING to start the scandal rumor mill. I pray that Mitt’s campaign people and EVERYBODY involved in getting Mitt elected realizes the importance of holding their tongues and not giving the media a chance to distort even one word. You know that they’ll be like hungry wolves, looking for a meal. I pray that they are all reduced to their petty whining and the rest of the country gets so sick of it that EVERYBODY tunes them out.
