A Chicago Bar called “Rocks” is currently offering free drinks to voters at their election-night party. The above photo of the flyer for the bar makes light of the Chicago way, of voting “early and often, (As long as it isn’t for Romney).”

The thing that caught my eye about the sign is where they tell people to vote “often”.

How do you prove it. Ask for a note from the poll worker or the honor system?

An honor system? In Chicago? Is there such a thing?

You know, if I lived in Chicago, I would vote for Romney, then get the free drink, I mean, how would they be able to tell that I was true to my word, when I said I voted for Obama? But then again, perhaps this is just a made you look moment.

I guess if the Senate can have an Ethics Committee, Chicago can have an honor system......

Same here.

I just had a nice Irish Red Ale yesterday and I'd be willing to bet that since they are in Chicago they'd probably have some excellent Irish Reds on tap.

So this joint is offering drinks on-the-house for the whole city? Including dead people?

The proper response is to offer to open a can of whoop-ass.

Don’t care. By election night they’ll be sobbing in their beer.

You know, I think if I lived in Chicago, and if I had balls the size of cue balls, I’d go to that bar and buy my own beers all night long, just to watch all those liberals crying in their free beer.

I suppose I’d have to bring my own popcorn.

Great idea. There's no way they know who the person voted for, so it would be hilarious if 200+ conservatives showed up with "I voted" stickers at this place and got free drinks from them. I'd do it if I lived closer. (I Googled this bar and they're in the Lincoln Park neighborhood on the north side)

I’m in Chicago and it’s zilch. No Obama buttons on lapels or backpacks anywhere. Same with bumper stickers. If it wasn’t for people talking you wouldn’t know there was an election.

“I Googled this bar and they’re in the Lincoln Park neighborhood on the north side”

Suh-PRISE, Suh-PRISE SUH-PRISE!!!! The epicenter of the liberal bubble.

FTR, “Vote early and vote often” is an ancient Chicago joke. I’d be surprised if half the Chicagoans I’ve known would bother to vote once, let alone twice!
