If Romney loses, he'll be a victim of Bush's unpopularity, just like Landon in 36 was defeated because of the public's continued resentment of Herbert Hoover.
It's going to take a number of years for the GOP to get out from under the unpopularity of George Bush and his failed presidency.

That’s freaking retarded. The man’s name hasn’t been on a ballot in nearly 10 years.

History will be far kinder to George W. Bush than the present. BO has pretty much pissed away all of the advantages which George W. Bush’s good policies have brought us and he has doubled down on his worst policies.

Landon was defeated in 1936 because he did not campaign. In Fact in 1940 Wilkie ran against the New Deal when the bigger issue was war.

GWB’s biggest lapse: he did nothing to defend the Republican brand.

If so, the American people have become purely ignorant. Obama has more than enough record to defeat. If he wins, it is no more Bush’s fault than the annual Trillion dollar deficits we have now have.

Well, I think GWB is a good man. But I have to reluctantly admit that President Barack Obama would not have been possible if it were not for Bush 43. Can we move on now?

Bush did not defend the Republican brand, and McCain did so only in the most perfunctory fashion. So much flank was opened up for the media’s trashy, meretricious (not meritorious) attacks on the GOP.

George Bush inspired me to come to America and be more American than liberals.
As a former Kanadian, I hated my own country and whomever hated Bush was my sworn enemy. Odumbo’s presidency makes Bush’s presidency look like Reagan’s.

There were Kings in Israel who did a lot of things right, but did some things wrong ( like not destroying the groves, etc.)
Bush 43 is a decent man, IMHO. Should have done some stuff differently, but I was so glad Al Gore or John Kerry never had a shot at leading this country.

bs. if romney loses it’s because 47% of americans pay no federal income tax and are interested in getting more money from the 53% that do. Cobble that together with Obama being black and getting 985 of that vote, rich liberals and hispanics who have decided to become members of the dem plantation and america is in deep kimshi.

Not if Obama is re-elected.
To: JohnBrowdie
The mans name hasnt been on a ballot in nearly 10 years.
That was also true of Herbert Hoover, but the Democrats were able to dine out on his unpopularity for at least 20 years after he left office.
To: JohnBrowdie
Liberals are getting desperate.
