Apparently the GOP observers have been expelled from polling places in Philly... will the OSCE monitors notice?
Well, one issue is that, with most people working in DC, and the polls closing at 6PM, you have to vote before work. I've only lived here for a year so I don't know what the lines usually are at this polling location. It's a densely populated area with many hirise apartments.
Fortunately I don't work in DC, but about 15 minutes away, so I can just drive back this afternoon and vote an come back to work.
Amen!
Voted early outside Charlotte. Longest lines I’ve ever seen. I’m going to ride by my polling place today to see how active it is.
Keep the faith!
Ballet questions? Like what kind of shoes are needed if you go "on point"?!?
Man, I'm in the SF Bay Area, and even OUR ballots don't ask "ballet questions"!
But Romney has definitely impressed me since the primaries, and I agree with y'all's estimation that he was the best of the field when all factors were taken into account.
And any eavesdropping flamers can just bite me
Now the trick'll be to keep his feet to a conservative fire and check OUR wallet anytime there's any of that 'reaching across the aisle' hogwash.
LOL
I believe Fox news just reported that the GOP has just been granted a court order to immediately return to those precincts.
We cannot expect the Americans to jump from Capitalism to Communism, but we can assist their elected leaders in giving Americans small doses of socialism until they suddenly awake to find they have Communism.

BTW, may I borrow this quote from your flag page today?
Already cast my vote in Early Voting, but I rose early this morning and walked a mile to the polls to stand outside and pray for a half hour.
At 7:00AM, the line was already snaking around the outside of the building.
I prayed every psalm I knew by heart, several passages from Isaiah, The Lord’s Prayer, several hymns, and then just used my own words.
Linda-The-Dog sat at my side on the leash without moving a muscle. She must have known something very important was going on.
I will check in from time to time, but I have to work till 9:00PM tonight.
Hopefully I will get in for the CELEBRATION of a RR Victory before I go to bed.
Charlotte?
“I always assumed that about 99% of all the people here ranting they could never vote for Romney would end up doing so - most of them probably wont admit it”
Please. If I wanted condescension - I’d be going to Democrat Underground. Anyways, going to be heading out here in a bit to go vote for Virgil Goode.
“he doesnt win, nobody would have won.”
Not true.
“Romney was the best candidate”
Also not true. Romney actually has negative coattails - people are more willing to support the republicans downballot than him. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Republicans increase their congressional representation, win the Senate and Romney loses.
Of course!
“Theyll be trying to bus them from Illinois into Wisconsin instead of Indiana this year.
They are already here and have been for about two weeks. Busloads of vans with Illinois plates and Obama signs on them.
I LOVE that song!
I LOVE South Pacific...Great Show.
Bravo !
Oh heroic Goode-vote-waster, please enlighten me what Republican candidate would have done better in your hallucinatory universe?
Went to vote at the West Chester Library in Boehner’s district (across from the site of the Friday night Romney rally)at 6:30am. Long lines in a very Republican district, (Boehner is running unopposed this year) are a good sign.
Did not vote, because I had to be at work at 7. Will vote right after work, before the evening rush.
I’d rather complain about Romney, than suffer under Obama.
“....of all the people here ranting they could never vote for Romney would end up doing so - most of them probably wont admit it, but Im pleasantly surprised how many have....”
I’m one of those folks. When Romney started out, I vowed to never vote for Mittens. I have to eat those words today because I did. Not because I fully agreed with his past performance, but because it was the right thing to do for our country. I think the “game changer” point for me was when he picked Paul Ryan for his VP, and then his performance in the first debate really cinched it. On the other side of the coin, the GOP could have run a south Texas Havilina hog against odongo and I probably would have voted for the hog.
Thanks!
