I Live in NE Ohio.

Today (about 6:40 a.m.) I voted and took my mom... who is 90 years old.

We had to wait in line for about 30 minutes, but not because of the crowd.

They had some kind of glitch with the voting machines.

I can't believe that these guys had to re-invent the wheel for a process that never took more than about 10 minutes in the past.

Anyway, there was a line because of it and once I finished and left the building, there were almost no cars outside and people were not waiting to get in.

I am always amazed at the number of pol workers they think they need to expedite the process. Each table had at least 3 people more than necessary. I could not determine what, if anything, they were doing or supposed to be doing.

Got in and out in about 45 minutes when it usually takes 15 at most.

Wife and I went in around 7:30 am. I am northeast of Columbus, actually Kasich’s hometown. No line. I have seen long lines there before so not sure what to take of it.

Other friends I’ve talked to in other precincts say lines are longest they’ve ever seen.

Not sure what’s up with my precinct.

Because we (the people in line) talked about who we were voting for...not an Obamabot in the bunch. Of course, at 6:30am, the leeches are still sleeping it off....

Just voted in Warren County, OH. Large lines compared to even 2010. This bodes well for Romney and the GOP since this is a deeply conservative district, likely > 70%.

I appreciate the information, but a thread works so much smoother if we don’t have to research each post to find out what the information provided means.

We are all in this fight together. I want to thank everyone who will spend hours waiting in line today for putting up with the incovenience of doing so.

Fight on!

Yes, “Chick-fil-A” seems to be the current battle cry.

I live in a tiny town in Putnam County, and even we had a long line this morning. I usually vote around 8:30 and am voter 150 or so; this morning, I was voter 171. So, it looks like turnout is up about 15%, a very good sign. :)

Putnam County typically votes about 75% Republican; I'm anxious to see if we an hit 80% this year.

They;re all voting for obama, you;re in MA, one of the most liberal cess pits in this country and yes I lived there and yes my wife comes from there but she escaped and stopped giving money to the liberal elected officials.

If it is like the states I have been in, just look at the color of the sample voting ballet that many of the people pick up on the way in. Whether they took a sample ballet from the Republican table or the democrat table is a good estimate for those on the way in.

No.

It’s a Rat invested, croney filled, Blue collar and blue haired Cuyahoga County wannabe. We just didn’t know that when we moved here.

I just think the decent people have had enough.

We live just 100 yards from our polling station and wife says traffic is heavy this morning. She says it is dying down now. Big time conservative area. She is going to be poll watching as soon as I get home. So should have a real good idea by 5 o’clock tonight.

When making reports about your location please indicate the nature of your location (heavy GOP leaning area or heavy Dem leaning, for example)

Excellent advice!!

Well, yes. Of course I know that. But here in my town in Metrowest Boston, I do see a lot of Scott Brown yard signs (and, unfortunately, a lot of Warren yard signs too). Even though Brown disgusts me, I am hoping he beats the reprehensible Elizabeth Warren.

If it weren't for Scott Brown, I probably wouldn't have even bothered to vote.

If Columbus is like *most* state capitals I would think that low turnout there would be a good thing. We'd want the fine folks of the area voting *tomorrow* when the lines are far shorter!
