Since I haven't seen one yet, I'll start it.

It would be foolish to not think about the possibilities. A second term Obama will be a tyrannical wreck. The looters would have won the right to take as much as they want and Obama will push the US into some combination of Greece and Venezuela with a dash of Islamic of Shariah law.
It is now 244 for Obama, 193 for Romney. I just don’t see how Romney can win this.
It’s probably over. America’s stupid half has spoken. Death by Idiocracy it is then.
But hey....it was fun while it lasted. Freedom and democracy, as an experiment, was a good idea at the time. We had to try....and we had a good run.

One pretty good rule in the game of politics is no second chances for losers. Allen proved once already that he couldn’t win a Senate set in VA, even as an incumbent.
He should have never gotten another chance.
Hugh Hewitt just reported that Jeb Bush called the Romney campaign and told them they will not win Florida.

Which will result in a second American rebellion or revolution.

You can’t realistically expect a better mix of circumstances to create a GOP landslide, and look what happened instead. It isn’t about liberal or conservative, it isn’t about policy or record or any thinking reason. There are too many ignorant, media brainwashed drones out there. There is too great a double standard that allows Dems to break the law as they will and hems in the GOP for any little thing.
If Romney pulls it off, and does a good job, that might work change things for the good, but if he loses I think the only thing that will cause a widespread wake up will be for America to feel in full the consequences of this foolishness. It could be economic collapse, it could be war on American soil, it could be a nuclear terrorist strike, but it will hurt bad enough to break people out of their trance.
Don’t discount the Yankee migration thing. They move down here and start voting for the same garbage that made them move. Combine that with the residue of our past sins and mistakes, and you get Romney squeaking out North Carolina.
Again, the Republican issue is no issue. It’s the country. GONE!

I met George Allen a few years ago. Post “macaca” and pre 2012 run - when he was just a civilian. Was not impressed. Bit of a doofus.
