Ohio is O 49.2 R 49.1 (80% reporting) so how can they call it for Obama?
What do we have to do? What can we do? I have spent so much of my life involved with political issues for the past several decades. All that time wasted, only to see our republic be handed over to the leftists on a silver platter.

It is time for us to admit that this is not the country we thought it was... it has changed far faster than we ever imagined and it is doubtful that we will ever return to what we were. Is this the new normal?
There will be lots of misplaced hate for Romney on this site. I think the reasons for this loss go far beyond Romney - it goes to the very essence of our soul as a nation. A soul that increasingly appears rotten to me.
I bet a lot of big cities had 100% turnout for Obama. I bet they cast those votes for those people who never even realized they were becoming voters.

It’s over. The country I fought for, the country that I went back into harms way as a civilian for when asked, is gone. Oh, the lights stil turn on, the internet is still there, but the spirit is gone. It will shambe on as a corpse, maybe even for a good portion of my lifetime, but I will see it fall. Many of us will live to see these hordes that voted for Obama picking it’s bones clean.
Americans just clearly said that they expect the government to feed them, clothe them, and house them at the expense of other Americans.
I’m not a student of history my friend. I’m just saying once you entitle people to the fruits of other people’s labor civil society is over.

The outlandish expense of gasoline is largely fear driven. If Big Oil thinks it’s about to take a forced financial bath tomorrow, it will charge as much as it possibly can today and nobody will break ranks for fear of becoming the extinct dinosaur of tomorrow.

Cain had zero governing experience. Romney has the whole package. Private sector, governing a large important state, solid credentials, spotless record, might have cheated at checkers once. Total boyscout, handsome, well-spoken confident, and America said “no thanks, we’d rather have free stuff”. America was the last, best hope for the world, and is now hopeless.

Even on FreeRepublic, if natural law is discussed most here don’t understand the concept. If natural law is not understood, then no basis exists for understanding our Constitution.

I have no solutions. Decades of illegal immigration and liberal public education has destroyed this country. The dream here is dead. Perhaps a long dark age lies before us. Well, it would be better to hand our progeny a robust faith than to hand it a neatly kept economic house. (And better the both together of course.) The Old Testament rules for the Hebrew people made long term debt impossible through its 7 year servanthood terms and 50 year jubilee years. Maybe God was a little more wise in devising such a plan than we would want to give Him credit for.

I believe Romney will win Ohio tonight. I also remeber Freepers telling me that Ohio would be a very tough state for voter fraud to occur. I don't recall the reason why they said that.
Anyway the point is, Ohio will probably be the only state that over performs for Romney tonight.
I will also add that Indiana performed well tonight compared to 2008. Don't they have a strict voter ID?

1)Well, I am a 54 yr old female in relatively good health. My husband is a disabled surgeon with a good insurance policy for the next 9 years (tax free). He is very despondent about the course of our country.
2.)I am self employed...not in my nature to get gov’t assistance as I make a pretty good money although not steady income....Real Estate....Guess a lot of folks may decide to sell now... I have slowed to NOTHING so not having work may happen.
Just turned down a listing as the seller did not want to pay me my fee. I am not a charity and don’t work for free.
So we are planning to be debt free soon. Have plenty of guns and ammo. Next step to begin prepping.
