I can already see it in 2012 - and they end up voting Obama. Without the Latino vote Romney would be preparing his inauguration speech right now.
For decades now, poll after poll has shown that most Americans oppose illegal immigration. The GOP had decades to get a border fence built to stop the invasion and gain control over the nation's borders. They did nothing. Now it's too late - the demographics of states like California, Nevada, New Mexico are changed forever. Millions of Mexican Americans now vote, and vote Democrat. They'll soon be the largest voting bloc in the country. Either the GOP finds a way to appeal to them, or it goes the way of the Whigs.
