“State by state, the US needs to true the vote. A pure electronic system isn’t going to cut it.”

And don’t forget that voter id must be required to vote. NO provisional ballots. We must require responsibility if you want to vote. We now control more state houses let’s go to work.

I would also suggest getting rid of any other issues but President and Congress on the ballot.

I think it going to take biometric voting. We saw in Philly yesterday what happened to our observers. It’s going to take iris scanners and fingerprint scanners to stop the fraud.

You have GOT TO BE KIDDING!!!!!! There will be no reforms, all voting will be by Dem standards now.

I made a pitch for the HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of freepers who read here to be election workers, because you can't be kicked out of the poll and then honest eyes are on the vote. I don't think enough of us did.

I worked a 15 hour day, a lot of people voted and there was no cheating at my precinct. Get in touch with your election clerk of the county and volunteer NOW to help with the absentee ballots, military and provisional. Be the eyes on the count.

as for the paper ballots, we switched from punch cards after the hanging chads in Fla. we chose from 3 machines ONLY. Diebold (bad reputation) a machine that had parts made by the russian mafia (great huh?) or the one we went with, not touch screen but a wheel to choose the candidate, less fraud there... but what happens inside? Still electronic, how is the programing done?

I wanted the paper ballot one that is basically a counting box when you put your ballot in it counts the ovals and then in a recount you get people to LOOK at the ballot and you can really tell the intend of the voter. the machine doesn't do that. But that one wasn't approved for the federal funds to help pay for it.

Many states have special requirements for 16 year olds getting a driver’s license. What about doing the same regarding 18 year olds and voting? You can’t vote unless your are either 21 years old OR...18 years old and either serving in the military or self-supporting with your own employment and owing no government loans? Remember that the original reason for allowing 18 year olds to vote was that 18 year olds were being drafted into the military. (As an aside, given gender equality, why do only males have to register when they are 18?)
