In the interests of “fairness” or “moderation,” I know many people have this idea that divided government is best for checks and balances.

But if this were the case, how could one party get away with charges of obstruction on the part of the other? To me this whole concept is just so much BS...

I know too many of those people in Wisconsin also. They for whatever reason will decide they need a particular politician at some level then vote the opposite party for the rest. Then they whine mightily about gridlock...
