Didnt the GOP destroy his district?I thought that the state GOP gerrymandered him into a bad redistricting. If there's anything the establishment Republicans seem to hate, it's the Tea Party. More so than Democrats.

Unfortunately, Debbie WashedOut-Shitz wond handily. Some people were thinking it’d be close - but it wasn’t.
WashedOut-Shitz (D) 63%
Harrington (R) 35%

Sorry to hear it.
When George Allen was redistricted out of his seat he ran for governor and won.
West seems as good a politician as Allen...

Thank you.
Liberalism is indeed a mental disease. Shlitz also is certifiable,....and, unfortunately, she casts votes which affect all of us, not only her district.

Mia Love lost her race also(Utah). She was up by double digits 2 days ago.
How in the hell! ugh.

This is a sad outcome, but I think he’ll rise again. And, yay, we got crazy Alan Grayson back! He and Harry Reid will lead the Crazy Charge.
Small victories here in AZ. We got to keep Sheriff Joe. Matt Salmon is headed back to the House. Jeff Flake won the senate race, but I am ambivalent about him. My district was redrawn and we are faced with a too-close-to-call race that has not been decided yet.

The South Florida republican establishment did all they could to derail LTC West the first time he ran. Charlie Crist is closer to what they like.
I wish LTC West would move to a part of the state where he would be appreciated.

If there's anything the establishment Republicans seem to hate, it's the Tea Party. More so than Democrats. You said it. Not just the tea party, they despise conservatives in general. They really want to be a center-left party to take on the hard left democrat party but those damned conservatives keep forcing them to tack to the right. They hate it and think that's why they lose. They'd rather lose races outright than support a tea party candidate, thinking that they're better off without those embarrassing tea-party nuts distracting everyone from their goal agenda of entitlement expansion, amnesty, and increased regulation. I'm talking to you, John Boehner! And you, Karl Rove! And you, John McCain! And you, anyone named Bush!
I'm pretty sick of them asking for my support when it's clear they consider me and my beliefs distasteful.

What a fine man to lose! He should hit the road today and run for president in 4 years!

Did I just hear that he was challenging the results due to serious problems with re-counts after original posting and locked doors so no observers?

damn right he should, these results do not make sense
walker won his two elections and yet Ryan never came close
I4 corridor was plus 7 for Romney but it went for obama
Broward and their tactics too.
Military votes split in VA , even after Libya,
union votes up by 5% and yet voting is down and after these last 4 years.
PA, OH, FL observers kicked out
machines not working or voting for obama
there is much more but have to go out but this stinks to high heaven
