Seriously?” Everyone on the planet predicted this (except the usual fools a/k/a Dick Morris). We just do not have the number of Republicans we used to have. Demographics are changing. America is moving decidedly Left. Until we stop sitting around blaming “magic” for our failures then we’ll be sitting alone and right soon.

We have GOT to stop listening to the Karl Roves and Fox News fools. We have GOT to stop listening to every single conspiracy theory that waddles down the path. (Yeah, that means birtherism). We have GOT to share our Conservative values and stop this little echo chamber we have. Let the LibTards do that.

But, hey ... yeah, I’m a closet liberal “eye roll”, but alll I know is I said from the beginning that Romney would get beaten and we’d lose seats in the Senate. I thought we’d lose more in the House but that was a pleasant surprise.

But, by all means, keep blaming magic and birth certificates. Liberals will love you for it. BTW, that Nation you see out there? It’s turning blue.

I agree. The problem is that we will never win te handout war. The left will always promise more goodies and we will lose. The conservatives in Europe also saw this trend 40 years ago. They attempted to educate the electorate d share their conservative values. Now they are resigned to meaningless party status as the vrios left of center parties fight over how to redistribute the pie in an aethiestic society. As crazy as this sounds, our best bet is to fight this battle on a States rights level. Unfortunately, that didn’t work out to well for the South back in the 1860s.

I guess i'm a 'closet liberal' too then, because I was nodding my head in agreement to everything you wrote. A 2016 victory begins with us taking off our blinders, stepping outside and finding liberals and... talking to them, help them, employ them. When they have something to lose they become conservatives, When they learn they can get faster, better, help from their neighbors than the government they become conservatives. When they learn to stand on their own, they become conservatives. That starts with us, reaching out and teaching.

13% of the electorate yesterday was black. 10% were Latino. Obama won 39% of the women. Overwhelmingly he won single women. The racial and cultural demographic is/has permanently changed. With each generation, there are fewer and fewer people who attend church. Indeed, we are turning blue.

Outside of your complaints of “birthers” and Karl Rove, I’m not sure what it is that you think conservatives are supposed to do. You make the charge that somehow we conservatives have a monopoly on stupidity. Seriously, you don’t think the left has issues FAR exceeding the right in that arena? I’m not a “birther” but I know they voted. How many people that think like you (whatever that even is) showed up to vote?

Name a few more things we conservatives need to shore up on. We have you down for “No birthers, no Karl Rove, no Fox News” but those are just peripherals. What can we do to get people to understand that $16 trillion and skyrocketing is actually bad while not hurting their pretty little feelings?
