Half a million more votes in the right places and we would have had it. A turnout like 2004 and we would have had it. We had the tools and the numbers, but too many sat this one out.

It boggles the mind to try to figure out how any decent human being could sit this one out.... given that their inaction appears to have caused America to suffer through another 4 years of hell.
We may or may not survive this.
I’d like to be optimistic but really can’t find much justification for it...

One thing, though. Podhoretz says this afternoon that there were not many people sitting this one out, after all. If he is correct, then the cause of Romney’s loss lies elsewhere... Here is his article, see what you think....(??)

If indeed there are several million ballots yet to be counted, could it be that many of these are absentee ballots (which tend to split in a more favorable Republican manner, often).... and if so, might we not yet know the result of this election? (I really don’t know what to make of this... will appreciate any definitive answer, if available).

Pray for America, in either event. There are far, far too many people who want to ditch this great republic into the trashcan of history.
