Chuck Todd you idiot.

My prediction: Obama will toss latinos under the bus.

If he didn't honor promises made prior to his first term when he planned to run for re-election, why should he start honoring them now?

Republicans would rush to reinforce the opposition?

Well, I guess it’s not for nothing that they’re called The Stupid Party.

I don’t see 80 or 90, but the key number is 60, to break a filibuster. I certainly CAN see 5 RINO Senators who’ll join with the Dems on this.

This will be part of the general attempt to read the 2012 loss as meaning “we were too conservative, we have to move even further to the center.” They’re already saying that. Yeah, we should go the Dole-McCain-Romney route, only more so.

Between Boehner and this nonsense, I’m wondering if the strategy is to let the libs have everything they want, and allow the country to just disintegrate under its own weight.

I just don’t get how anyone in the Republican party can believe that backing immigration reform will ingratiate them with the Latino set. They are dyed in the wool Democrats and will be for the next several decades at least.
