“No one could push this birth thing before, and certainly no one will now.”

Why on earth not? There is little to lose and we just might save the country. Maybe if the GOP had pursued this we would be in a different and much better place.

I agree with your philosophy, but to push it someone with enough clout or power needs to get it in front of a court. That is risky, as if it makes it to the Supreme court only the Lord knows what they would do with it.

I think we’ve lost the best way, which was to pursue it politically, and the GOP never would do this, they represent no one except their own interests.

But there are smarter and more creative people out there than I am, if we are lucky someone will find a way.

The only thing birthers accomplished was giving Obama and the Democrats an easy punchline and a distraction from more serious issues. Birthers have replaced 9/11 truthers as the group most people think of when they hear "conspiracy nut." It's depressing to think how many of our members consider themselves part of this lunatic fringe.
