I hope you feel better. You are missing the point. The media puts up a headline that claims that Boehner has agreed to new taxes.
they didtwo things— they get the talking point that Boehner agreed to it the day after election, but that is not at all what Boehner said. But then when the House refuses to pass anything that raises taxes, the GOP are too extreme, Speaker can’t control his Tea Party extremists in the House, blah blah blah.
but the second thing they did, which is even worse- is they get the grassroots Republicans all pissed off at Boehner. Then you yell at fellow brothers in arms because we won’t answer to every little caveat point you want to bitch and whine about. They played you like a fiddle.
But hey— you spend your time pissed off fighting with FREEPers and drawing swords for pissing contests.
I tried to treat you with respect after YOU jumped me for my thoughts. I gave you benefit of the doubt, that maybe your tone was harsh because we are all having a bad day, and sometimes we get snappy without really meaning to. Ya know take it out on folks who really are on your side, not trying to poke ya in the ribs.....
but no....you are more interested in keeping your tone with ME, than with the media and the real enemies out there. I would have liked an actual conversation about ideas, and was willing to have one. But your attitude is not one about solutions and ideas, you just want to be sarcastic and insist that YOUR issues be addressed. It is just a trap. Why the hell would I bother talking about “over decades”?????? LOL!! I wrote a simple post pointing out that the headline was misleading- that’s all. I got now bargains to defend or explain “over the decades”—

Last I checked, democrats blaming all the Tea Party Congresscritters
did not work in this election, so why would Bonehead be afraid for 2014?
The truth is Bonehead loves to work deals.
And decades of deal making from both sides have brought this
country to the brink.
If fact, it worked so poorly, Pelosi will NOT be elected
minority leader and will in the near future leave congress.
