As I said on other threads, once sequestration kicks in, Reid will be powerless. The only thing he can do at that point is agree to whatever the house offers. Blue state senators need the return flow from government contracts. House members generally do not.

Is it slightly wrong that I wish Harry hadn’t come back from that car accident with all of his limbs? Seriously, this man is a despicable despot.

The house should say “We gave you everything you wanted last year. We increased the deficit ceiling and we agreed to allow the Bush tax cuts to expire. And, we accepted your idea of sequestration. We agreed to all these things because we wanted to be bi-partisan. Now you’re on your own.”
