Took him THIS long to do that? My neighbor (a Vietnam Vet) has been flying his upside down in his front yard for 4 YEARS.

Yesterday I took all 4 of my flags down, placed them in a paper bag, and will bury them on my mountain land when I get up there this weekend.

Call me UNAMERICAN all you want, but those flag no longer stand for anything. Just a dream of our forefathers bought at the cost of their blood. That dream in me died Tuesday, November 6th, 2012.

I understand your distress. The one constant in my life has always been love of country and I do not feel it any longer. This is not the same country I was born in. There’s been an incredible amount of deterioration in just a generation or two. This country has been balkanized to a degree. With entire sections of it living as less that animals without even the good grace to mow the lawn or see that children are well tended to. It is disgraceful.

It’s not that I do not love America, but it is more of an idea and a wish now.
