He’s likely trying to preempt the “party of No” attacks Obama and the Media are preparing.

Oh, for the love of God in Heaven, Boehner - just SHUT UP.

Hopefully it’s temporary rhetoric. He needs to stay firm until the fiscal cliff, then let the D-senate come begging for a compromise. Better to go over the cliff than pull up short.

more paternalistic stoking of the tiny ego of the fatherless affirmative action president

Looks like Boehner is volunteering to be barrys “big brother”, kind of like GWB did with Bubba

homework help, field trips, midnight basketball, maybe even lunch out a few times. Barry is lost without Reggie, lil Barry has no male role models to show him how to be a man.... no, Axelrod Ayers and Plouffe dont count

Don’t buy in to the politics of personal gain. The American people need to be the winners, not necessarily the President. But, in this case, the President has only picked losing propositions and we all lost. So, a success for Barry means lining the pocket of his supporters. How about doing things that allow us to at least keep some of our earnings and not pass massive debt along to future generations?

Boehner to Obama: "We want you to succeed"

With such inept and gutless Repukelican leadership, how else could the unaccomplished, ignorant, idocracy dictator succeed? This country is done for and the worst is yet to come...

Boehner to Obama: "We want you to succeed"

You see? We really didn't lose as much as we thought yesterday. We'd still have useless John Boehner as Speaker.

The House is the democrats next target in 2014. They want it all. They will blame EVERYTHING bad that happens in this nation on the GOP controlled House

Like it or not, Obama just won re-election. If Boehner wants the Republicans to maintain control of the House come 2014 he has to sound concilatory. Otherwise he risks looking mean and spiteful. We need to hand over ownership of this terrible economy to the Dems. Do we really want to be blamed for going over the fiscal cliff?

As Gene Hackman said to Denzel Washington in Crimson Tide: “I can’t stand ‘save-asses’and I won’t put up with kiss-asses.” We shouldn’t either!

The party of RINO’s was irrelevant before the election and all but dead afterwards.

Something new has got to happen that will not include them to save the country.

Rush: "I hope he fails."

I stand with with Rush.

IMHO we've probably already crossed the point of no return for collapse.

Maybe it's time for him to succeed. Just get it over with and show the nation what unchecked liberalism does to a nation.

Stalemating and resisting the socialists may only slightly delay the inevitable while providing them cover for their evil ideology by giving them someone else to blame for our demise.

One plus is that we may be closer economically to where the soviets were just before they collapsed. So hopefully unbridled socialism won't last near as long as it did for those poor souls.

We'd certainly have to fight hard to prevent a "Putin" from rising out of the ashes. But I think an advantage Americans have is that they can still remember what freedom and capitalism felt like. I'm fairly confident that after collapse we'd unite for it.

Then, we put out the flames and rebuild.

We want the country to succeed. We want hussein in federal penitentiary for numerous treasonous acts already committed.

If Obama succeeds then America fails.

I despise Boehner.

If he remains speaker the Republic is finished.
