I agree totally. It requires too much effort and capital to run a national campaign. We can begin by:
1.) Halting all campaign contributions to the RNC or for that matter, most state R committees;
2.) Focus our money and personal efforts on electing those who share our principles;
3.) Vetting candidates;;
4.) Challenging GOP platform issues as needed;
5.) Holding GOP leaders feet to the fire;
6.) Carefully build a brand that will hold up under the fire that is sure to come from critics of all persuasions;
7.) Organize;
8.) Obtain funding.

Half measures or pie in the sky expectations will not cut it. There is a ton of blocking and tackling that will be required.

We have lost a major battle and the enemies of freedom and our founding principles have the initiative. As was the case in the Revolution we have limited resources and therefore need to fight an asymmetric battle.

Respectfully, because resources are limited, fighting this battle within the framework of the GOP is a waste of those resources. Better to start from the outside, where your items 1, 4 and 5 will not be necessary.

The eventual goal should be to get the Republican Party to realize that should it wish to remain a national player, it needs to conform to its base rather than the other way around.

Kicking this rotten unit in its power structure is the only way to get it to listen. Removal of the base from that power structure is the only way to make that happen.

Good list. I think you’ve started the playbook.
