Did any of these oil & gas bigwigs check to see if his fingers were crossed behind his back? Excuse me for being cynical but I won’t be surprised if Obama just keeps putting Big Oil off over and over again and never keeps his word to them.
thackney, I love reading your posts. You are easily the most informed person on this forum in regard to the oil & gas industry. I can’t thank you enough for your participation here.
However, the leaders of your industry are whistling in the dark. Cheap energy is NOT on 0bama’s agenda and I think we all know why.
Obama plans on imposing a carbon tax.
Industry looks? You mean you don’t know? LoL.
An avalanche of regulations that will strangle any profits.
Much higher prices for consumers.
Higher taxes on carbon energy.
Reduction in US productivity because of high energy prices.
Pretty simple to figure out.
Europe is absolutely giddy with the outcome because they now will have another country moving towards their failing socialist experiment.
