Hey NY/NJ, according to Al Gore this is caused by global warming. So to save yourselves from freezing, turn off your CO2 emitting stoves, furnaces and fireplaces. Don’t use your cars either. Once you shut off anything that produces pollution you should warm right up and be OK.
At least that’s what I heard.
They better not be using any high sulfur fuel oil, either.
They should feel really good about themselves, though, not using any coal generated electricity in the interim.
