They keep changing the law. As I recall, when Kennedy did us all a favor and died, the democrats had changed the appointment law when Romney was governor so that a governor COULD NOT make an interim appointment. Then they changed the law so that he could. So he’s going to have to make an interim appointment until a special election can be held.
