Cunningham On Obama Win: "I Felt As If Something Crawled Inside My Body And Died" (video)

Syndicated radio host and Ohio native Bill Cunningham expresses his disappointment in Tuesday's victory for Obama on tonight's broadcast of FOX News' "Hannity."

"I felt as if something crawled inside my body and died. Tuesday night, I was lower than whale dung in the Mariana trench. Man, I talked with you. I was done. But today and last night, I said, 'You know what? We're not wrong. We didn't do it. The messenger wasn't the best, the message wasn't the best.' And I think that there were millions of moderates in Ohio, Michigan, Virginia, who kind of sat this one out," Cunningham said.

"Did anyone believe in his heart that Mitt Romney was a Reagan conservative?" Cunningham asked.

I’m beginning to think that not quite as many “sat it out “ but maybe their votes were removed, or not counted.

How could you not believe that many sat it out when MANY fellow freepers openly admitted to doing so? Heck I personally know more than a couple of conservatives that refused to vote for Mitt because of the LDS thing. More GOPers than you think simply didn’t show.

Many people I know said something similar, except that they felt something “evil” attacking them. I personally get that feeling from many of them including the MSM pimps. They seem to have evil oozing out of them.

Good gravy!

I’ll admit to post election depression. Last night I was bored and tired and went to bed at 8:30 . Tonight however, I’m in my usual fine form. It’s still a strange brew of schadenfreude and despair though. “Hah. The Dow is down 500 !” ... “Wait, I’m in the market!”

I think that you are absolutely right. They certainly are not at all moral or decent in any way. For anyone to think that with the kind of power that they have that they wouldn't have made sure that the election didn't matter, they do not know who these people are. As Joseph Stalin said, "It's not who votes that counts, it's who counts the votes." If anyone thinks that the Obama people are above this mentality they haven't been paying attention.

No, Romney wasn't a Reagan conservative, but who thinks a Reagan conservative would attract the growing numbers of voters who reject conservatives and conservative principles? I've already said that we should run a true conservative next time..someone who is part educator and part attack dog. One willing to speak the truth about the opponent. But that doesn't mean the message will get across.

There are millions more new voters every prez election cycle who eagerly look forward to a bigger government. The conservative message of not relying on government carries no weight with them. They want things, and they want them from other people. Asking them to rely on themselves doesn't work anymore.

The strange thing to me is even though dim election fraud, intimidation and cheating is rampant and becoming more so every election, the GOP “Leadership” acts surprised and naive. Even when it is exposed and a few of the culprits caught, it results in little of no punishment - especially to those benefitting from the fraud. Ask Al Franken.
