It isn't just the pro-sodomy ads. You can take everything the new CEO came up with and check "all of the above" for the decline. This guy was a know-it-all whiz kid who thought he could re-invent the wheel. Even though I am disgusted with the perverted ads, that alone is not the reason I do not shop with them. I probably still would if it were not for all the other changes. It's getting nigh impossible to boycott companies that support sodomy as most now do.

I used to buy most of my clothes from JCP because they have a decent selection of tall clothing (I'm over 6'5" tall). I used to receive a Big/Tall catalog from them, and I would receive mailings and emails that included coupons, free shipping, etc. That all stopped with the new regime. He ended sales and coupons, and the only catalog I receive is a pathetic one not aimed at me as a tall person; but one that features a bunch of unshaven/unwashed metrosexuals in rumpled suits with plaid shirts and purple ties. I don't know why the CEO thought he could improve over what has worked for decades.

The company probably saw declining sales and wanted to do an overhaul to try to deal with it. Unfortunately, they tried to fix what was not broken. Their declining sales were due to the Obamaconomy. They simply made a bad situation worse.
