McCain, 2008 popular vote: 58,319,442
Romney, 2012 popular vote: 58,163,978
4 years of population growth and Romney didn’t draw what McCain did......
Sorry if this has already been posted. FR search hasn’t worked for awhile so there’s no way to check.
As I told my liberal pal....so you’re happy with youth and minorities determining the future of you, your kids and your grandkids?
He was speechless
I know, I tried the “search” feature last night. No luck.
I had the same observation that night. My wife and I are retired and will now collect social security starting this year. I remember watching the TV thinking “I just got mine and yours”...useful idiots.
Obama won because the decadent and demented now dominate.

Ballot Foundries in Philadelphia, Cleveland, Detroit and Milwaukee.
And perhaps no parental teaching or guidance. Just one big party until it hits them. Hope they like whatvtheyvwished for cause they got it and they own it just like Obama owns Benghazi. Look at holder and hilleree bailing’!!!

The 20-somethings I know, almost all liberal, were all in for Obama because of gay marriage, “reproductive rights”—that’s free contraceptives and abortion on demand—feminism, and “social justice.” Economics didn’t even enter into the picture, except that they bemoan the cost of healthcare and contraceptives and want a single-payer UK-style system. Oh, and Romney was an out-of-touch evil rich white guy who was going to set the course of womens’ rights back fifty years, wanted homosexuals to die, hated brown people, was a KKK-style racist who wanted to re-enslave blacks, and was going to turn America into a right-wing fascist Christian theocracy (never mind that he’s Mormon).
One woman, otherwise intelligent and underemployed and barely scraping by, told me point-blank it was more important that she have her “reproductive rights” than have a job. This is what they believe with the fervor of a Pentecostal in the throes of tongue-speaking.
They don’t think we’re wrong. They think we’re an evil to be eliminated from the face of the earth. They think freedom of speech and freedom of religion should not apply to conservative Christians. They don’t think our voices should be heard in a free and open debate because we’re racist and bigoted and therefore the First Amendment doesn’t apply.
That’s what a huge proportion of the youth in this country believe. They’re basically Red Guards or Comintern without the snappy uniforms, or Weathermen/SDS without the pipe bombs. And they are willing to throw out our 230+-year Constitutional experiment in the name of “social justice.”
Was this what it was like to be a conservative God-fearing American circa 1968? I’m too young to remember.

They need to own the fact that 0bama voters want stuff and aren’t interested in working for it.
Maybe they are too lazy to vote,
like in PA, during the time where the GOP poll watchers were physically kicked out,
the Philly precincts recorded 90% turnout and 99% 0bama votes.
Bingo - spot on. The whole “War on Women” bs worked like a charm.
This article is spot on. It is up to us to educate our children. It can be painful and acrimonious at times, but we cannot give up.
FALSE MEME....
Repubs turned out AT LEAST 85,000 better in Ohio this year, than in 2008. It’s just that Obama kept almost the same amount of voters. In states like Indiana, that was hair-close in 2008, It wasn’t even an issue this year.
This election turned on MASSIVE D turnouts in just FIVE U.S. Counties. Just FIVE....
The rest of it is just minutia, and excuses.
