I want a “leader” that will say FU to the media and say “bring it on” to any executive order Obammie wants to shove through. Someone to represent the pissed off Republicans by fighting for survival not caving in now when we are still moments from crashing and burning anyways.

There are two basic paths to sequestration and the federal crash and burn beyond that. The first is that we hold tight and let the leviathan crash. The second is we cut a deal with Obama and postpone the reckoning until we are deeper in debt with Greek style consequences.

The way we get to sequestration and a better deal that genuinely cuts the debt is by making sure we work towards a deal in public while saying no in private. If we say no in public (your plan), then Obama will go to the media and ask them for emergency powers or whatever he needs to borrow and spend more. The D-senate and enough scared house members (remember whose side the media is on) would be enough to pass something.

Or he could go the Fed route. The Fed is giving him a lot (fake ridiculously low interest rates) but they could be cajoled into giving him more. There are other ways he can get this done while your hypothetical leader rants and raves.
