To: Behind Liberal Lines

Meanwhile, there’s a gigantic FEMA tent city about half a mile from my house that has no electricity, food, medicine, doctors or nurses to help the middle-class people who are stuck there because Hurricane Sandy destroyed their homes. When they tried to leave, they were stopped by cops. When they tried to contact the press, they had their phones taken away from them.

The cops in my area have not behaved nicely during this crisis.

Where do they charge their phones? Wonder how the cops knew who they were calling?

It sounds like the cops are holding them hostage. Did you report this?
