Pres. Bush fighting sulfur dioxide (acid rain) was a legitimate issue because much of Sulfuric Acid is man-made. Some, however, does come from volcanoes and another form from Pine trees.

However, Carbon Dioxide is a naturally occurring Oxygen/CO2 exchange NECESSARY FOR LIFE, a fact that apparently the brains in California don’t know.

The California law, by extension, could put a “breathing tax” on every individual because we expel CO2 as part of our natural respiratory system. Therefore, in the thinking of these leftist/voodoo science politicians and advisors (including NRDC), human billions are guilty of “greenhouse gases”, polluting the atmosphere, and promoting climate change. Thusly we MUST BE TAXED AS PUNISHMENT.

Remember, you are dealing with California, where insanity was legalized and made the “normal” many decades ago.

PS: I have worked on Clean Air Act cases and major power plant retrofit cases. Know something about the subject and my conclusion is, the Left is fucking nuts beyond measurement. They want to destroy the economy in order to save the snail darter fish.

I say let’s fry the damned fish, give the San Joaquin Valley the water it needs to grow their crops and feed America, and fire every lunatic leftist/Democratic/marxist politician in the country (That would clean up California in a minute).

PS: Let’s also tax the Hollyweird ONE PERCENTERS at 50% above what they already pay, and a 100% on the money they have sent overseas for French and Swiss villas, islands, acccounts. Of course they will support this move for the greater good. NOT!

Co2 is the limiting atmospheric gas to plant life. How much a plant can form in biomass depends on CO2 in photosynthesis.

France already makes studios and actors pay taxes on their film revenue, don’t know why our own country doesn’t ask the same. Frankly, as I said before, I would prefer a more expensive movie ticket over a more expensive gas and food cost if I had the option. In the meantime, my wife and I have pretty much started off our new marriage with trying to grow some of our vegetables, because for all I know, the prices are bound to get rediculous for the rise in gas prices, which will raise the price of a product (food) dependent on diesel fuel and gasoline plant, harvest, and transport in significant quantities.
