Ok - so I’m not a millionaire but if we give Obama what he wants and we get spending cuts and some (not all) loopholes closed up and agree to reform all over tax code then at least we don’t sacrafice 98% getting higher income taxes. I mean Obama has an upper hand with us right now and just taking a blow up the system in reality hurts everyone, including us. Granted I’m considered a RINO by all here but heck I voted Republican and am hopeful the divide in our own party can at least be met. Thoughts?

Short-term, yes....but all we are doing is delaying the inevitable, and making the inevitable even worse in the end.

My first thought is that everyone getting hurt is an inevitable reality resulting from the election. No one is going to escape the pain. My second thought is that we should give the voters what they want. Give them the Democrat way of doing things. ...Any means of increasing taxes will take money out of private investment, but Obama’s plan isn’t just to close a few loopholes, it is to do our investing for us through government. Obviously Americans think that Obama has proven he can invest our money better than we can. Why suffer a slow death of the economy through half measures of plundering when full on economic suicide is so easily within our grasp? Let Obama have his tax increases by any means he chooses to get them. Let government have what little money Rich people aren’t taxed, what businesses have in profit, and let government keep on coming for more and more. It’s the fair thing to do.

...The past four years certainly didn’t wake up America. They didn’t even get Republicans out of their spiteful tantrums long enough to go vote. If gasoline and energy prices aren’t enough, make them go higher. Create shortages, lines, rationing, and cripple the movement of Americans as well as the movement of the economy. Make promises about the future of green energy while using the EPA to destroy the evil oil and gas industry. It’s the American way. The possibilities are endless, and fat people need to ride bicycles.

Americans don’t know what is good for them. Let government decide. Open the borders. Have food control. Have gun control, and private property control. Damn that Sarah Palin for not running, and damn those people who dissed Ron Paul. Obama will show them.

Do you really think Obama can do all he wants to do by closing a few tax loopholes? He will need more money than there is. He already does.

Oh yeah, let’s be sure to find the perfect Republican candidate the next time. Don’t bother with primaries where he or she might get beat. Just demand the RNC install him. If we don’t get the perfect one, make Obama our King for life.

Do you really think the next Republican candidate is going to win states Romney lost? There will be four more years of Democrat fixing going on. Amnesty, citizenship anyone? ...Having a Republican Congress as a stumbling block to Democrat plans is at best an inconvenience to them, and at worse an excuse for them to consolidate executive power even sooner than they would if given an unobstructed path to their soviet dream.

Everyone gets hurt, like it or not.
