It’s just a ridiculous idea. The Democrats would drive us as far into debt as humanly possible and then institute a 75% income tax and 50% VAT tax. Everyone would “learn their lesson” but the entire economy and our standard of living would be destroyed forever. It’s not even funny to joke about giving the Democrats everything they want.

People do not want anything cut. They want all the bailouts to come. They want the Fed to keep printing money. They do not believe we of gone off the cliff or are close to going off the cliff. They think we can patch it over, that we can somehow come up with a magic solution. You cannot have a budgetary solution if you do not change what the role of government should be. As long as you think we have to please the world and run this welfare state, all we will argue about is who will get the loot. “

I am not sure i agree, they have been getting just what they want including queer marriage, this happened in the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, there were so few people who had not turned animal that they were able to leave so that God could destroy these cities.

It will most likely not happen that way today, but it don,t have to be such a long death if we just let them alone.

But you can bet how ever long it takes will be too long.

But wait: i forget, God is giving us just as long as he can because he is unwilling not to give us a chance to repent and come to him, in general people are not apt to come to him when every thing is hunky dory because they are too busy having fun to even think of him.

It is plain that there are many people on this planet who do not belong to God, it is also plain there are many people who do belong to God who do not yet realize it.

There are also people who go through all of the rituals making people think they belong to God who do not know him but only know religion, we need time to sort out religion from the truth of the Gospel.

So maybe i do agree with you in that perspective.

“the entire economy and our standard of living would be destroyed forever.”

We have reached the tipping point. Over 51% of this nation now receives a check from the government. The Supreme Court, as Justice Scalia said last week, will not be in support of the Constitution any time soon. The national debt is now over $16 trillion. We cannot afford interest rates to rise so much as 1% on that debt. Voters looking for free money now outnumber those that make the money (Makers versus Takers). Our own Bonehead Boehner called it quits on repealing ObamaCare. I could go on, but those are enough.

Do you really think you’ve got a plan that can save the Republic? Didn’t think so.
