The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows that 53% of Likely Voters at least somewhat approve of President Obama's job performance. Forty-five percent (45%) at least somewhat disapprove

That is the president’s highest job approval rating since July 2009 (see trends).

Ninety-three percent (93%) of Democrats approve while 88% of Republicans disapprove. Among those not affiliated with either major party, 45% approve and 50% disapprove.

Results are updated daily at 9:30 a.m. Eastern (sign up for free daily e-mail update).

Check out our review of last week’s key polls to see “What They Told Us.”

Forty-five percent (45%) of Americans are confident in the stability of the banking system.

Most voters want Republicans in Congress to work with President Obama but eight out of ten Republicans disagree. They also think it's more important for Republicans in Congress to stand up for what they believe in rather than compromising. The data shows that the president is not the only one who will face challenges from the Republican base. Most GOP voters believe their representatives in Congress are out of touch with the party base.

Did this worthless tool poll anyone in the NYC area?

The number of paid subscribers at his site should drop to zero ASAP.

The 47% has grown to be the 53%. Mitt was wrong in his numbers. I have been telling everyone for years now that about 1/2 of this country is clueless, so that just confirms my anecdotal and unscientific hunch. I don’t care if we are the minority. We are right and they are wrong. They are dependent and weak-minded. If we are disciplined and aggressive, we will beat them. Time to roll-up our sleeves and gut-punch these clowns in the next election cycle.

What are you babbling about? You made groundless, silly charges that Rasmussen was bought off or threatened. You have not even the slightest bit of evidence to back up such a ridiculous charge. We just had an election in which Rasmussen's numbers were off the mark in favor of Romney, NOT Obama.

You are just making stuff up. Yes, you have the right to say dopey things like that on a public forum. Others have the right to call you on it.

he bought an election...47.1 million on welfare and food stamps...

I do agree with you on this part. Obama massively increased dependence knowing those people would vote for the freebies to continue. We are much more like a Western European welfare state now. The number of new people on SS Disability and Food Stamps is astronomical.

All righty, then. We’re supposed to believe that conservatives actually answered this poll in the same proportion as their share of the electorate.
Rasmussen has a lot of new lib subscribers now. That’s his business.

It`s pointless to keep publicising this. Obama (abuser) successfully persuaded his beat-down girlfriend (Americkan voters) to stay with him. He really, really promises to be good this time.

Just more dumb*ss Americans being polled for the umpteenth time.

Here’s my suggestion: for everyone who approves of the job Obama is doing, do an IQ test. That would be a helluva lot more instructive than these dumb*ss polls.

People really are asleep. I went to the supermarket and told the stocking clerk that the canned food with the longest expiration date will go first. He just looked at me as if I was from another planet and said nothing. It seems that the economic collapse will be during zero’s term, much worse than in 2008, likely sooner than later, and all at once.

“They must be polling all DemocRATS...because I don’t trust them nor do I believe them..”

Obama did win in the end...

” he bought an election...47.1 million on welfare and food stamps...”

And they like that! That’s the reality we have to deal with.

Amen brother! Even after the complete validation of the polls on Tuesday, some still refuse to live in Realville.

This just goes to prove that 53% of the american public is too stupid to live. Which is what is going to happen to them when the economic collapse happens. Most of them don’t have an extra can of chili in the pantry. We are probably going to lose a few million obamabots to starvation and then we can get America back to a constiutional republic.
