Actually NZ is better, but they are very hard nosed about who can come there. In OZ you can live off the grid for a long time. There isn’t enough law enforcement to come hunting after you should you over stay your visa. Gotta remember the whole country is almost as big as the USA but has the population of LA.
Oz has its quirks, its dangers but the most thrilling part of it is the vast emptiness wanting to be filled. I spent my life traveling across America, been there done that, Alaska has been my home for the last 20 years, its actully quite safe from Obama but I’m getting out while I can before I have to flee to Canada and then having to use a Canadian passport to enter OZ.
