He can make all the public appeals he wants, but the public won’t be listening. I for one refuse to listen to him even when it’s just a clip. His stupid voters could care less about all this. They got their man back and now they are done.

NO. They can learn to live within their means like the rest of us have to.

I’ve been in denial for a long time but now, even I can’t lie to myself anymore: our nation is dying.

If you look at the Emperor's proposal - it only cuts the growth rate not the growth.
The cut of 1.4 trillion is spread out over 10 years. And, by Congressional Budget estimates the deficit will grow by at least 10 million over those same years.
Only in Washington DC can a deficit increase of 9 trillion dollars be considered deficit reduction.

The Great Communicator is going to now convince us tax HIKES are good for us? The same guy who gave 500 rousing speeches about the wonders of ObamaDeath and, after every single one, more people hated it than before.
That's going to go over real good. Have another sip, it's good for you!

I got used to hearing him and then just assuming that whatever he says, the opposite is true. But now, I don’t even bother. I just reach for my MUTE button.

All this stammering salesman of a clusterf*ck president knows how to do is campaign and turn the piece of sh*t residents of this dead country against all the good things this once proud republic stood for.

many Republicans appear to have softened their antitax rhetoric in the wake of the election, with many openly acknowledging that higher taxes will likely be part of any plan to reduce the deficit. Several Republicans, including House Speaker John Boehner and Rep. Tom Price (R., Ga.), have said in recent days higher tax revenue could be part of a deal. They have refused to consider higher tax rates, saying that new revenue should come instead from new limits on deductions and other tax breaks, suggesting one potential approach to a deal. As far as I can tell this has been the GOP position all along.
Close loopholes to secure new revenue...no higher taxes.
