All this government spending breeds poverty, our cities are full of people who do not seek work for generations.

Government created and instigated poverty equates to easily facilitated government control over the masses. It's up to We, the People to curtail big government. Looks like that isn't going to happen now. At least, probably not in our lifetime.

We have a problem in our area with people using their welfare debit card to buy cases of soda - they then go dump the soda, return the cans and use the money to buy beer and cigarettes.

Since Michelle Obama insists that school cafeterias must serve only healthy meals, why can Debit Card users purchase soda and potato chips - they are where “forced” healthy eating should start.

Absolutely true, and we are on a path to do nothing about it.

Its worse than that, the GOP is about to make fatal adjustments to the party platform based on a fundamental misinterpretation of the motivations of the electorate.
