Here’s a CNET forum article from earlier this year. Someone claiming to be John McAfee pops in toward the end to try to declare that he’s innocent and that he’s being harrassed by the cops in Belize. Then there’s the matter of his 17-year-old girlfriend . . .

The truth of the matter is at the courthouse. I was formally charged on Monday at approximatey 6:30 P.M. and all charges were dropped before midnight that same day. The press releases are pure posturing because I am suing the government. It’s as simple as that.
