The answer, of course, is an emphatic yes, since by its very nature, ObamaCare is too much for ObamaCare, but individual states' freedom to opt out of designing their own state-specific health insurance exchanges is turning out to be yet another flaw in the oh-so-masterful plan.
Last week, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius announced that the government is extending the deadline by which states must submit their blueprints for their exchanges, meant to be tools with which consumers can shop around for insurance options, but all states must still indicate whether they're planning on doing it themselves, forging a partnership with the feds, or letting the federal government do it for them, by this Friday.
Certain states have been wrestling with the decision --- to try and do the best they can for their state with the new normal, or let the federal government lie in the bed it made for itself? Phil Klein, among others, thinks that states shouldn't acquiesce; Washington is going to end up making all of the really important decisions anyway, so why even invite the appearance that the states have any meaningful control over what’s going on or take any of the pressure off the feds? Several states have declared flat-out that they will not be participating, and there are plenty more with misgivings — seventeen states or more may end up fully relying on Washington for their exchanges.
Which could be kind of a major problem for the federal government; WaPo has the skinny on how much work it is to set up these insurance exchanges, and if the federal government has to manage all this… that’s a lot of bureaucrats.
“These are systems that typically take two or three years to build,” says Kevin Walsh, managing director of insurance exchange services at Xerox. “The last time I looked at the calendar, that’s not what we’re working with.” …
These marketplaces often get described as a Travelocity or Expedia for health benefits. While that might be the case for the consumer experience, experts say the underlying technology is hugely more complex, a maze of interconnecting computer systems meant to deliver health insurance to 30 million Americans.
“The reality is, states and the federal government are building something new,” says Pat Howard, who runs state health issues for consulting firm Deloitte. “There’s a rough blueprint in terms of federal regulations, but there’s still a number of decisions that need to happen to operationalize this.”

Didn’t the Roberts decision on Obamacare allow the states the option of participating?
All Obama has to do is withhold all federal money and they will be back in line ASAP. They did this with the speed limit and Drinking and Driving and the states wanted that government tit too much to try and make it on their own.

The citizens of the US suffer from blatant abuses of their rights such as the NDAA, the TSA, etc. Given that the state of Texas maintains a balanced budget and is the 15th largest economy in the world, it is practically feasible for Texas to withdraw from the union, and to do so would protect it's citizens' standard of living and re-secure their rights and liberties in accordance with the original ideas and beliefs of our founding fathers which are no longer being reflected by the federal government.

Well, Obamacare was designed to fail. It’s really just meant as an iterim step to a single-payer system such as obtains in the UK.
Hard to imagine that accelerating the planned collapse of this system will do anything but hasten the arrival of the single-payer system.

Justice Roberts gave the states a way out. I didn’t like the ruling where he said it was constitutional. Let’s see the progressives try to sue over this. I am reminded of Hank Rearden in Atlas Shrugged refusing to give in to 10-289. It showed how Government depends on compliance to engineer the demise of those who comply. Sebelius is a toothless b***h.

Also - I believe that the law says “states” will set up and run the exchanges - I see more legal challenges ahead!

No to Obamacare implementation it is bad for every state and individuality. They and their states will face grave consequence to attempts at implemtation.
By it’s nature, including HillaryRomney’s Massachusetts Extortion, no individual can ever be given the same care, facility access, medical expertise, time-access, etc., is a violation of the Civil Right Act, specifically selective preferencing.
Even, that with some states opting in, and others not, is also subjecting the citizenry to Selective Preferencing, also a violation of the Civil Rights Act.
Any attempt to implement or force, or subject a citizen of the States, or subject the citizen to duress of like action, is a violation by selective preferencing and discrimination.
